When you first walk into the stage you will use your investigative skills and:

1. click on the lamp
2. then click on the file cabinet
3. then the trash cank
4. next is the book
5. head over to the flower pot
6. now click on the picture to reveal the safe and crack the safe code

Wala! The ruby… you have solved the msytery.
